الخدمات المدارة هي ممارسة الاستعانة بمصادر خارجية على أساس إستباقي للمسؤوليات والوظائف الإدارية وطريقة استراتيجية تهدف إلى تحسين العمليات وخفض النفقات. بل هو بديل عن كسر أو إصلاح أو بناء على الطلب لنموذج الإستعانة بمصادر خارجية، حيث يقوم مزود الخدمة  بالخدمات حسب الطلب وبفواتير العملاء للعمل المنجز فقط

Managed services is the practice of outsourcing on a proactive basis management responsibilities and functions and a strategic method intended to improve operations and cut expenses. It is an alternative to the break/fix or on-demand outsourcing model where the service provider performs on-demand services and bills the customer only for the work done.
